Daniel’s idea of bliss is to share musical experiences. He is most happy when sharing in a collaborative project. Collaboration draws Daniel to music and theatre. “The fun is in the work!” is his rallying cry. He embraces the process of preparation. Whether performing, directing, or playing piano for an opera, musical or other theatre piece, preparation and rehearsal are the most stimulating part of the work.
Daniel has sung and played the piano since he was a small child. His opera debut was as Amahl in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors. His personality naturally leans toward leadership which drew him to directing. He began directing musical theatre in 2018 with Annie. Daniel has performed with Spotlight on Opera, Oklahoma City Cabaret, University of Central Oklahoma Opera, Carpenter Square Theatre, Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre and others.
